"Yes," he replied.
I continued. "Today is ---"
"I know what today is, and don't even think of asking me to be the Easter bunny!" he snapped.
"Oh, I'm sorry," I said. "But how did you know I was going to ask that?"
"Plastic eggs. Fake grass. Chocolate candy. Everyone assumes that just because you're a rabbit, you're willing to act cute and smile a lot for Easter. It's sickening. Well, NOT ME!" He hopped away, muttering something about stuffie stereotypes.
(He seems to have a bit of an attitude, doesn't he? Perhaps this is a touchy subject for Flops.)
But now what are we going to do for the Easter egg hunt? We don't have an Easter bunny...
Alright, I guess I'll take one for the team.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
Ajdin, I know you are hiding in that picture.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to all the stuff is.
Grandma
Hi Grandma!
DeleteOh dear...it sounds as if Flops is experiencing Easter Bunny Burnout. Carrots gets this from time to time as well, and he just needs to take a break. Perhaps things will be better next year. Very good of you to take one for the team, Ajdin!
ReplyDeleteA bear's gotta do what a bear's gotta do.
DeleteUmmm... **snicker**.... nice nose and whiskers... cough... cough... ahem... ahhahahahaha!!! Sorry Ajdin...
ReplyDeleteAjdin, be sure that picture of you gets buried deep in the vault, otherwise it might come back to haunt you next election cycle, that is assuming you run for Prezident again.
DeleteThis is true. I should hide this photo.
DeleteAjdin, you make a great bunny! What a good sport you are!
ReplyDeleteSomeone's gotta do it!
DeleteYou are a very cute bunny!
