Magic grow

Hey everyone, my mom found this MAGIC GROW kit today while she was organizing some things. Apparently you just put these little capsules into water and they expand into some fun shapes. Here, we have safari animals in this kit.

I am not sure what you do with them after they turn into animal shapes. But I have nothing better to do, so here goes.

I am going to put a capsule in water now.

plink!

Ah, something is happening!

I see a... giraffe!

I'm just going to dump all of the capsules in!

plink plink plink plink!

Look - they are opening up!

I see an elephant, an anteater, a monkey, and some other animal shapes also.

I wonder what other arts and crafts kits my mom has lying around...

Meditation class

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well! It seems that things have been more stressful than usual around the world recently, so I decided to sign up for a meditation class to help me relax.

I'm here at this place called OMMMMMM Meditation Studio.

Anyways, I've been waiting for the teacher to show up but so far no one is here --

"Sorryyyyy I'mmmmm laaaaate," said a familiar voice. It was Ooogie!

"Ooogie, I didn't know you taught meditation," I said.

"Yesssss, I dooooo. Hiiii Ajdiiiiin," he replied. Wow, what a guy! I can't keep up with all the jobs he's had so far: Santa's elfdriving instructorDMV, McDonald's drive-thru, census taker, election official.

"Everyoneeeeee, let'ssss ssssstart wiiiith threeeee deeeeeeep breathssssss."

He rang the singing bowl to start.

~ ring ~

"Inhaleeeeee.... exhaleeee on OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM."

"Inhaleeeeee.... exhaleeee on OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM."

But there was no need for the third breath, because we all quickly fell into a deep sleep.

SOME TIME LATER...

~ ring ~

"Everyoneeeee geeeeently oooooopen yourrrrrrr eyesssss."

"Huh... where am I... what... wow... how long did I nap for?" I said, rubbing my eyes awake.

"Jusssst 30 minutesssss."

"Wow, I feel really refreshed!" I said.

"I'mmmm glaaaad youuuu enjoyeeeeeed it."

"Thanks for a great class, Ooogie! This was so relaxing. I'll recommend it to everyone!"

Have you tried meditation before?

Mail

Hey, I got some mail today! Mail is always fun and something to look forward to, especially during these past couple of months!

First up is a card from Little Fox... wait, no... it's actually from Sequoia! It's a thank you card for some dog treats we sent him. The front of the card says "A Skulk of Foxes." I didn't know that's the word for a group of foxes. Thanks Seqouia!

Then we have something beary interesting from Sandy. It's 4 postcards with cool photos and designs on them! These are really neat, plus Sandy also made his own stickers since he was running of them. Thanks Sandy!

Surprise package

A couple of days ago, I received a surprise package in the mail. I love getting mail and packages (hint hint) - they are so fun.

Okay, let's take a look and see what's inside.

It is a beary nice card and letter from my good friend Jessica. She is a wonderful artist and beary creative! Thank you for the card, Jessica.

But wait - there's more! It looks like something - or SOMEBODY - is inside this box.

"Hello!" she said.

"Hello!" I replied.

"My name is Ruby," she said. "And Jessica handmade me from head to toe!"

"Wow! You are beary pretty!" I said.

Look at the detail on this stuffie! It must have taken a lot of time to make Ruby. Thank you for sending me a new friend, Jessica!

May the Fourth Be With You

Do you know what today is? It is a beary special day.

Yes, it is Monday. But that's not it.

True, it is May 4th... you are getting closer. Any other guesses?

No? Well, I guess I'll tell you then. Today is...

*POOF!*

May the Fourth!

(as in May the Fourth be with you, the official Star Wars holiday)

Ajdin Salmonfisher here! To celebrate, I've decided to stop by the Mos Eisley Cantina for a drink. It looks like my favorite bartender has something special for me today.

It might be a little hard to see, but these are stormtrooper ice cubes! These ARE the stormtroopers I am looking for!

But wait - there's more! This looks like...

...Captain Solo - frozen in carbonite!

These ice cubes are perfect for my Jedi ginger ale!

May the Fourth be with you!

Archaeological dig

Hello everyone! Bear Cub Scout Ajdin here, and today I'm taking part in an archaeological dig. My friend Captain Claude will be helping me out. We had a very successful treasure hunt last time we were on a pirate adventure together!

"Aaarrrr matey!" he said. "I have been in search of the long lost Pirate Stone of Unbelievable and Unimaginable Powers, or the PSUUP for short."

"Maybe the PSUUP is in here!" I said.

Everything we need is in this kit, except for a hammer. Good thing my mom has one. She is also going to help with the hammering since it weighs more than I do.

Look, we are chiseling our way down to find the hidden treasure!

My mom hammered some more and muttered something about Renaissance sculptors. They made this stuff look so easy.

"Look! Something is there!" cried Captain Claude. "Could it be the PSUUP?"

He brushed it off gently.

There was an audible gasp as we both stared at it.

I picked it up carefully as it seemed to glow in my paw.

"I think this belongs to you, Captain Claude," I said. "A pirate treasure for a pirate!"

"Thank you matey! At last, the PSUUP has been found! Arrrr!" he said.

"Yes, this is wonderful news!" I replied.

But... we're still not sure what exactly the PSUUP can do! Maybe it will be a good paperweight or something?
