Puzzle

Last Christmas, my friend Droopy gifted me a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle... of myself! It's a photo from my visit to see the bluebonnet field in spring of last year.

Let's open it up and get started on it!

First, let's flip all the pieces right side up.

Next, let's do the edges. Done!

I think I'll start with my shirt. I'm wearing a red plaid shirt and a jean jacket in this photo.

You know what I learned from working on this puzzle? That my fur is beary complicated! My face is more complex than it looks.

*A COUPLE DAYS LATER*

I insisted to my secretary that we keep working on this puzzle nonstop, but I finally gave in and took some breaks for food and sleep. Now, we have finished the most important part of this puzzle - me!

Let's start on the background of the bluebonnet flowers. The orange flowers are Indian Paintbrush flowers. It's a rather challenging background with so many flowers and some are blurry. There's lot of green grass too.

Alright, we just have one piece left!

There it is. Do you see it?

Oh this is exciting!

The puzzle is completed! What do you think? I'm going to find a frame and hang this puzzle up on the wall. Thanks Droopy, for a great puzzle!

My 10th Bearthday!

Hey everyone, I'm so excited for today. Do you know why? Because it's...

MY 10TH BEARTHDAY!

My mom has a gift for me, from the Build-A-Bear Workshop of course!

It's a tuxedo!

I'm going to try it on right now! Excuse me as I do a little quick change...

Oh... this seems to come with pants... hmm... I guess I'll wear them for now just to see how they look...

Ta-da!

How do I look? I'm rather feeling myself in this tuxedo, 'cause when you look good, you feel good!

The name's Bear. James Bear.

Whaddya think? Do I have what it takes to be the next 007?

Let's get back to the gifts. My friend Droopy gifted me a puzzle roll-up mat. I've been working on some fun jigsaw puzzles lately so this will definitely come in handy. Thanks Droopy!

My mom also made me a cake. Here's the big reveal.

Yes, I love it! It's a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.

Thanks everyone for the bearthday wishes!

Some fun stuff!

Hey everyone! I've got some cool stuff to show you. I received some treats a while ago from a friend but forgot to post about them. I think you're gonna like this stuff!

If you are familiar with the LINE messaging app, there are some digital stickers you can download and use in your chats. One of the characters is a bear named Brown. There is also a LINE store with tons of merchandise.

This first item I received was a pen tray feature Brown the bear. It's pretty handy, isn't it?

I got got a zippered pencil case, also with Brown wearing a dinosaur outfit. This is really cute! Maybe I should get a dinosaur outfit also.

And what's that? Aha! It's a paperclip holder! Brown is on a yellow fishing boat.

It also comes with 10 fish-shaped paperclips...

...so that when you put a paperclip near his paw, his magnetized paw will pick it up!

Ah, how clever!

Thank you to my friend for sending me this gifts. I am a lucky bear indeed!

Surprise package

A couple of days ago, I received a surprise package in the mail. I love getting mail and packages (hint hint) - they are so fun.

Okay, let's take a look and see what's inside.

It is a beary nice card and letter from my good friend Jessica. She is a wonderful artist and beary creative! Thank you for the card, Jessica.

But wait - there's more! It looks like something - or SOMEBODY - is inside this box.

"Hello!" she said.

"Hello!" I replied.

"My name is Ruby," she said. "And Jessica handmade me from head to toe!"

"Wow! You are beary pretty!" I said.

Look at the detail on this stuffie! It must have taken a lot of time to make Ruby. Thank you for sending me a new friend, Jessica!

Uncle Tibbs' new apron

I was hanging out with Uncle Tibbs when my mom came by with a little surprise for him.

"Something for me?" he asked. Indeed it was, and it was something fun!

"Oh, this is beary exciting!" he giggled.

Uncle Tibbs opened it to reveal a black apron that said "Bear Grills." This is a gift from Droopy and his human and we received it a long time ago but forgot to post about it.

"Put it on, Uncle Tibbs," I said.

"Okay, how does it look? It fits perfectly! This will definitely inspire me to do more grilling."

Thanks for the apron, Droopy! Grilled salmon, anyone?

A new year, a new shirt

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope everyone is having a great start to 2015 so far.  My mom forgot to let me open the gift that Sandy sent me for Christmas, so I'll open it now.

It's a nicely wrapped package and it feels soft.  Aha!  It's a...

...a new shirt!

I can't wait to try it on.  But I have to take off my blue shirt first.  URGHH, UNGHH.... I'm having some difficulty.  My head is too big as usual...

Okay I finally got it over my head.

...almost there...

... and voila!

Hmm, now this is beary interesting.  I am a bear originally from Bosnia, who is now living in the United States, who received this shirt from my Canadian friend, which has the British flag on it.  I guess we are a truly international bunch!

Thanks Sandy!  I love the shirt - it fits perfectly!
