Surprise package

A couple of days ago, I received a surprise package in the mail. I love getting mail and packages (hint hint) - they are so fun.

Okay, let's take a look and see what's inside.

It is a beary nice card and letter from my good friend Jessica. She is a wonderful artist and beary creative! Thank you for the card, Jessica.

But wait - there's more! It looks like something - or SOMEBODY - is inside this box.

"Hello!" she said.

"Hello!" I replied.

"My name is Ruby," she said. "And Jessica handmade me from head to toe!"

"Wow! You are beary pretty!" I said.

Look at the detail on this stuffie! It must have taken a lot of time to make Ruby. Thank you for sending me a new friend, Jessica!

Shhh... it's a surprise

Hello everyone, Uncle Tibbs here.  We are planning a surprise bearthday party for Ajdin - today is his bearthday.

Ooogie, Feathers, and Parker are working on the decorations.  Let's see how it's going.

"Happy Ajdin Day!"

"Thaaaaat dooeeesssn't looooook riiiight."

"Woof?"

"Ajdin is a happy bear and today is indeed his day..."

"Wait, how about this..."

"Happy Bearthday Ajdin!"

"Yes, much better!  Everyone, time to put on your party hats!"

And here's a hat for you also!

"Now here he comes... he's blindfolded, and when he takes off the blindfold, we'll cheer 'Happy Bearthday Ajdin!'"

"Uncle Tibbs?  Ooogie?  Miss Feathers?  Parker?  Where is everyone?  I can't see anything with this on."

"Take off your blindfold Ajdin!"

HAPPY BEARTHDAY AJDIN!  WOOF!

"Wow!"

"We have a special party hat for you - it's blue and has fish on it!"

"Aaaaaand a beeeaaarthddaaaaay caaaaard frooom Drooooooppy, Paaaatch, aaaand Spunnnkkyyyy."

"And some postcards from Jerry and Ben and Little Fox."

"And some Little Bear books to read!"

"Wow, what a great bearthday!  Thank you everyone for the special bearthday wishes.  I hope you have a beary good day as well!"

April surprise giveaway drawing

Hello everyone!  The April surprise giveaway ended yesterday and there were a total of 7 entries including blog comments and Facebook comments.  Who will be the lucky winner?

I put the contest entries inside my trusty fishbowl.  This time, Uncle Tibbs was going to select the winner.

"Uncle Tibbs, will you please do the honors?" I asked.

"Why certainly, Ajdin."  He put his paw in the bowl.

"AND THE WINNER IS..." I paused with excitement.

"Hmm... ungh...ergh..." Uncle Tibbs made grunting sounds.

"AND THE WINNER IS..." I said again.

"Hmm... there seems to be a problem," he said.

"Uncle Tibbs, they're waiting.  Please take your paw out of the bowl."

"I'm trying Ajdin, but it seems that I am stuck."

He was stuck indeed.  I called Ooogie and Feathers over to help.  Together, we pulled while Uncle Tibbs tugged.

Suddenly... POP!!  Uncle Tibbs' paw came out of the bowl.

I will be shipping them to you as soon as ---- hey!

My mom does not seem to approve of the pants as a contest prize so I will be sending you something else... it is truly a surprise!

April surprise giveaway

Hello everybody!  I am having another giveaway and this time it is a SURPRISE giveaway.  Don't you like surprises?  Let me get out behind this box so I can tell you more about the rules.

Okay, this giveaway ends in one week on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at midnight Eastern Standard Time.  One winner will be selected at random.  To enter the contest, just leave a comment below with your guess of what the surprise is. It is such a surprise that even I am not sure what it is.

Where is everybody?

Yesterday morning, it was beary quiet when I woke up.  "Ooogie?" I called.  Ooogie was not napping on the bed.

"Uncle Tibbs, where are you?" I called.  He was not reading on the sofa.

"MOM???"  I could not find my mom either.  I was all alone.  I opened the door to go downstairs when suddenly ---

"SURPRISE!!!  HAPPY BEARTHDAY AJDIN!!!"  It was my friends and my mom hiding behind the door.

I was so surprised that I fainted.

Uncle Tibbs picked me up and put me on his head.

"Happy Bearthday Ajdin!" he said.

There was a beary large bearthday message for me.

And there was also a chocolate cake.  I guess I am turning two years old in human years.

"Maaaaake a wiiiiiish," Ooogie said.

I thought for a moment, then I wished really really hard.  Here is a video of me blowing out my bearthday candles.

After I blew out the candles, we cut the cake.  The cake was beary good.

I also got a bearthday card from Little Fox - thanks Little Fox!  Little Fox also sent me a jar of Nutella, but my mom ate it before I had time to take a picture.

A while back, I also received the below postcard from Jerry and Ben from their trip to San Francisco.  There is a famous song called "I Left My Honey Jar in San Francisco."

They also sent me a bear pin which I have proudly attached to my bear cub scout uniform - how do I look?

It was a great bearthday!
