A lot of people (and stuffies) watch this show, and there are many contestants. So I was beary surprised when I was invited to...
"...COME ON DOWN!!!"
*cue game show music*
"Hello, I'm Bob Bearker and welcome to... THE PRICE IS RIGHT!" said the host. "We have some fabulous prizes for you today so let's get started!"
I was beary excited.
"Our first prize is a delicious 12 oz. jar of clover honey. It comes in an plastic, easy squeeze bottle that is shaped like a bear. Add some honey to your favorite cup of tea, on toast, on salmon, on ice cream, on pizza, on hamburgers, with cookies, on anything... or simply eat it straight from the jar!"
"Mmm," I said.
"Now, what do you think is the manufacturer's suggested retail price for this bottle of honey? BB$2.99, BB$4.99, or BB$6.99?" the host asked. (Note: 1 BearBuck = 1 USD)
I thought for a moment, then picked BB$4.99.
"DING DING DING! Congrats, you're a winner!" said the host. "That's a terrific prize to win Ajdin, but there's more to be won. Would you rather walk away right now with your bottle of honey, or continue to the next round? Remember, if you choose the incorrect price in the next round, you will walk away empty-pawed!"
"I would like to go to round 2!" I said.
"He's going to round 2!" the host cheered.
"And I'm so glad you decided to go to round 2 because the prize here is a brand new PawPad!" he said.
"Hey, wait a minute, that looks like my --"
"This sleek new PawPad comes loaded with dozens of games and apps so you can listen to music, play games, and email your friends. All at the touch of your pawtips! Now what do you think is the manufacturer's suggested retail price for this PawPad? BB$250, BB$499, or BB$750?"
''Well, since I bought that PawPad myself, I know it is BB$499," I said.
''DING DING DING! That's right, congrats on your prize win!" the host said.
''Okay Ajdin, you've won some great prizes so far. There is a third and final round. Would you like to walk away now with your prizes, or continue to the final round? Remember, if you choose the incorrect price for the next prize, you will walk away empty-pawed!"
"I'm going to the final round!" I said.
"And he's going to the final round!" the host said. "And I'm so glad you decided to do that because we have a beary fantastic prize for you here! It's the biggest prize we've ever had on the show so far!"
I was so excited.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It is such a COOL prize! The BEST prize ever!" the host continued.
"Can you tell me what it is?" I asked.
"It is right here covered under this sheet..."
"Can you please tell me what it is?" I asked again.
"Of course I will," said the host. "I will tell you exactly what it is... after this commercial break!"
