Yes, I know it's been AGES since I have posted. My secretary is.. well, basically non-responsive lately. *sigh* Anyways, I guess I will have to post my own blogs from now on.
Recently, I noticed that my beloved little red car (which I won 11 years ago on the Price is Right), was looking a bit run down.
I brought it to my mechanic, Koko, to have him take a look.
"Koko, the tires look flat and seem to be peeling," I said.
"Ah yes, they do look a bit worn out," he replied.
"And I see the bumper has some damage to it also. Did anyone hit you?" he asked.
"Not that I recall," I said. "The paint seems to be peeling all over for some reason!"
"Even the steering wheel is peeling!" I said.
"Ah, well, sometimes this car's finish has been known to peel in very warm temperatures. You should store it in a temperature-controlled room," Koko said.
"Hmm..well it's too late now," I replied. "Can you do anything to fix it?"
"Fix it? Of course I can! That's how KOKO'S KARS has been in business for over 20 years. We're the best in the business. Over 10,000 positive reviews on Yelp. We'll have you repaired in no time," he said.
I haven't driven my car in a while, so I thought I would give it a spin today. Let's go for a ride!
I got in my car and buckled up. Safety is very important!
When I tried to turn on the engine, I heard a strange clicking sound.

I tried it again.

But my car still would not start... UGH!
Oh no, what am I going to do?
Have you ever had one of those days where it seems like NOTHING is going right? Yes, those days happen to stuffies, too!
But then I remembered that I'm a AAA member! AAA provides vehicle roadside and towing assistance for a reasonable annual fee.
I called the number on the back of my membership card and very soon, a highly skilled technician showed up to my location! It was KoKo, my most trusted mechanic, who also happens to own a repair shop called KoKo's Kars.
"Hey there, mate," he said. "Let's take a look at what's going on."
He popped the hood and began looking around.
"Now turn on the engine," he said.
CLICK CLICK CLICK!
"Aha, I know that sound very well," he said.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Your car battery has died and you need a new one," KoKo replied. "I have some new ones here and I'll just replace it for you."
He popped in the new battery and my car engine roared to life.
"Wow! Yes! It works!" I said happily.
"That's great, mate," he said.
"What do I owe you?" I asked.
"Nothing, mate. You're a Platinum AAA member, so you get a free battery replacement."
"Wow, really? I love AAA! Thank you and have a great day!" I said as I drove away.
"Glad I could help out, mate," he said.
What amazing customer service! I highly recommend AAA to any car owner!
I noticed we were running low on honey so I'm going to take a ride in my car to the grocery store.
Wanna come? It's a great day for a spin!
"Are you going to the store, Ajdin?" asked Miss Feathers. "I need some birdseed."
"Hop in - I'll give you a ride!" I said.
"Heeeyyy, areeee youuuu goooooing toooo theeeee stoooore? I neeeeeeed sooome tuuuurtle waaax," said Ooogie.
"Sure, you can ride with us!" I said.
We watched Ooogie get into the car.
"Okay, everyone please buckle up!" I said.
I pressed on the gas pedal.
"Ajdin, can you please go a bit faster?" asked Miss Feathers. "At this speed, we'll never get to the store."
"Sure." The speedometer went from 10 mph to 15 mph.
"Tooooo faaaast," said Ooogie. "Pleeeeease sloooow doooown."
I let up on the gas and came down to 5 mph.
"We are going so slowly! Let's go faster, like 60 miles per hour!" said Miss Feathers.
I pressed on the gas.
"Whyyy areee youuu in suuuuch a hurryyyy?" asked Ooogie. "Sloooow is the wayyy tooo gooo."
I pressed on the brakes.
"FAST!!!"
"Slooooooow."
Miss Feathers and Ooogie began arguing.
"Please everyone, stop!" I pulled over. "This isn't working. One of you wants to go fast and one of you wants to go slow. And I'm the one driving here - this is beary confusing!"
(Have you had a backseat driver before?)
"Oh, I'm sorry Ajdin," said Miss Feathers. "I didn't mean to confuse you! You know, it's such a beautiful day. I think I'll fly to the store. I don't mind at all. I'll see you two back home later!"
She zoomed away with a few flaps of her wings.
"Okay Ooogie, it's just you and me now. We can drive at your speed if you'd like," I said.
"I thiiiiink I couuuuld useeee soooome exeeeercise. I wiiiiill waaaaaalk toooo theee stoooore. Seeee youuuu laaaater," he said.
"But that will take you a long time!" I insisted.
"Everyyythingggg taaaakes meeee a loooong tiiiime," he replied.
He got out of the car.
"See you later, Ooogie," I said.
"Byyeeee Ajdiiin."
Well, so much for carpooling. I guess sometimes it's easier for everyone to do their own thing, right?
