The first vendor I saw was... a salmon vendor! What luck! They had all sorts of salmon dips for sale.
These salmon dips would be great with a plate of crackers, don't you think?
They also had a map of Alaska on their table. I signed up for their mailing list. You can check them out at Cold Country Salmon. They have a beary informative website where you can learn all about salmon fishing.
The next thing I saw was someone selling macarons.
...bears! Okay, now I definitely have to try one. I bought a double chocolate ganache macaron.
This nice lady gave me her business card. Cool! They're called Pops n' Chill. Their website is so cute and colorful, take a look!
I saw large bouquets of fresh flowers.
Aren't they beautiful?
These are zinnias. Where there are flowers, there are bees.
And where there are bees, there is honey! Someone was selling honey at the farmer's market. These jars of honey came from Bees 'n Blossoms, a farm in Virginia. I would like to own a farm someday, and I would definitely keep bees!
I also saw vendors selling freshly baked bread and rolls. Bread and rolls would go great with honey.
There were also pastries and fruit tarts, yum! Are you getting hungry yet?
I had never seen watermelon in yellow and orange colors before. Have you tried yellow watermelon?
Beautiful carrots and lettuce! This would make a great fresh salad.
I peered closely at some mushrooms.
Aren't these vegetables beautiful? And even more delicious?
Are there any farmer's markets near you that you like to visit?
Such fresh fruits and veggies. Love farmers market.

DeleteWow... what a cool Farmer's Market!! We have several up here but always seem to miss the days they are open. Mind you... we have our own little farm in the backyard soooo...
ReplyDeleteOh how lucky are you with all that lovely fresh food and loads of honey. We don't have any markets close to us but sometimes we drive to one but I'm never really impressed. The last one didn't even have any honey.
