1) My friend thinks he is smart. He told me an onion is the only food that makes you cry, so I threw a coconut at his face.

2) Teacher: "If I gave you 2 cats and another 2 cats and another 2, how many would you have?"Johnny: "Seven."Teacher: "No, listen carefully... If I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?"Johnny: "Seven."Teacher: "Let me put it to you differently. If I gave you two apples, and another two apples and another two, how many would you have?"Johnny: "Six."Teacher: "Good. Now if I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?"Johnny: "Seven!"Teacher: "Johnny, where in the heck do you get seven from?!"Johnny: "Because I've already got a freaking cat!"

Poppy - Emotional Support Specialist

"Hi, I'm Poppy, and I volunteer as an Emotional Support Specialist in a homeless shelter.
I started with riding the Shelter Van for the Emergency Weather Response program, as my badge attests. We drove around town every cold winter night reaching out to homeless people and dropping them at shelters. My duties consisted in giving hugs and listening to sad stories. It was so moving! Then I graduated to dispensing support for an increasingly strained staff as well. Someone has to tell them that their contribution is valued and to keep up the good work! It's very sad and disturbing at times but I love it!"
