Hmm... what should I write about?

Oh, hey there. I'm just working on my next blog post. I'm not sure what I should write about though.

To be honest, I've been feeling kinda sad this week because my friend Miss Feathers recently left for Florida. She'll be back soon, though, but things just aren't the same around here --

DING!

Huh? What's this? A chat message popped up on my screen.

It's Miss Feathers! Yes, yes I accept!

"Hello Ajdin!" she said.

"Miss Feathers, how are you? Wow, what a beautiful beach scene!"

"Yes, the weather is warm and lovely and there are many other snowbirds down here just like myself!" she said.

"Woof!"

"We want to hear about everything there is to do in Florida..."

Wow, technology is pretty neat, huh? How do you use technology to keep in touch with your friends?

Miss Feathers flies south

"Oh, I'm going to miss this little house."

"Maybe someone will be able to enjoy it for the winter!"

"Miss Feathers, what are you doing?" I asked. "Why is there a FOR RENT sign on your house?"

"I'm flying south for the winter, Ajdin," she replied. "I listed it on Airbnb so perhaps someone will rent it out while I'm gone."

"Oh!" I was surprised.

"I have a timeshare in Florida," she said. "It will be so warm and sunny down there!"

"When will you be back?" I asked.

"In the spring, when the weather gets warmer here," she answered.

"We will miss you," I said. "I will miss you." I gave her a hug.

"See you soon!" she said, flapping her wings.

"Have a safe trip!" I called out.

Then she was gone.

Hmm, well that's a bummer.

But Miss Feathers will be back soon enough, right?

Spring isn't too far away... right?

Space suit

Hello everyone!

I am beary excited today as I have been summoned here to NASA Headquarters. As you might know, I applied to be an astrobear several years ago. It looks like things are finally moving on their part and I have been selected to move forward in the training program.

What's this? Could it be? Why yes, it's my space suit!

Look! It has the NASA logo and USA flag on it. And, there are two pockets for holding snacks! NASA definitely customized this suit for me for sure.

I've waited a long time for this moment. I'm going to try it on.

It seems to fit pretty well! What do you think?

But no space suit would be complete without a helmet.

*muffled sound*

I got a beary adorable Lunar New Year postcard from Julie Jane Zebra! Next week is Chinese New Year and it will be the year of the rat. Do you know your Chinese zodiac sign? I would like to know why there is no year of the bear?

Trash to Treasure Contest!

The theme is repurposing good, old-fashioned TRASH into something new! You can make a costume, art, or anything, but it has to be made out of trash.
