Thus began the virgin voyage of the HONEY RAIDER...
After a long and exciting journey, we arrived on Treasure Island. My pirate crew and I finally found the buried treasure chest!
We dug it out of the sand and then opened it carefully...
Inside was... *gasp*...
...HONEY! (What did you expect?)
ARRR!!
Honey? Huh, I would have never guessed. Two things of honey and 3 treasure hunters? Who didn't get a package of honey?
ReplyDeleteLittle Fox, I was also hoping for more honey in the treasure chest but we run this blog on a tight budget.
Deletedoes Ooogie eat honey? Or Captain Claude?
DeleteWhat a great find! Hopefully everyone shared in the pirate treasure booty...but Jerry says that if you DO need help finishing off the honey, he'd be glad to come for a visit.
ReplyDeleteHow kind of Jerry, always willing to help out with anything food-related. :)
DeleteHUZZAH!!!!! That's SOOO much better than an empty treasure chest!!!
ReplyDeleteI would have been beary disappointed if it was empty!
DeleteExcellent Haul! I think Oogie would look beary fetching in those bejweled necklaces. I'm sure he wouldn't mind skipping the honey treasure... I don't think turtles are big on honey.
ReplyDeleteThat is true. Turtles do not usually like honey by itself. However, as you are probably aware, there are multiple practical uses for honey. Ooogie will have some honey in his tea, and he also enjoys a fresh, nutritious salad with a honey vinaigrette.
