New stuff!

"Hello, Ajdin! I have some goodies for you today," said Uncle Tibbs. He was holding a bag that said BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP.

"Wow, for me?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, the Build-a-Bear Workshop still has nothing in my size," he said, "but I found a few things for you!"

I looked inside.

It's an apron!

This apron is perfect for baking, cooking, or crafting so I can stay nice and clean! And it even has two convenient pockets on the front for storing snacks.

And... a khaki safari vest!

Perfect for safari trips and exploring the outback! I can alternate wearing this with my Bear Cub Scout uniform for outdoor adventures. And maybe I can start a new pin collection on this safari vest! It also has a pocket on the front for holding snacks.

And finally... a magician's cape! Plus magic wand! And a hat!

I'm ready to do some magic tricks! This is SUPER exciting!

"Uncle Tibbs, thank you so much!"

I can't wait to have my first magic show!

New outfit!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!

I ordered some things from Build-a-Bear a couple weeks ago and it is FINALLY here! I guess stuffie orders aren't immune to COVID shipping delays, but I'm glad it's finally here!

Look - I got a new plaid shirt and a denim jean jacket.

I'm going to try them on. I'll be right back!

Ta-da! What do you think?

The red plaid shirt has small buttons on the front. And the denim jean jacket is really detailed with two little pockets on the front - a great fit!

But that's not all...

I also got a cowboy - or should say cowbear - hat! Howdy partner!

Stay tuned for some spaghetti Western adventures!

Build-A-Bear shopping

Today, I was in for a real treat! My mom told me there was still a balance left on this Build-A-Bear Workshop gift card. Time for some online shopping!

Look, Build-A-Bear Workshop is having a sale this weekend - perfect! I wonder what good deals I can find.

Some skirts and tutus? No thanks! I'm not auditioning for Swan Lake anytime soon.

Boxer briefs? No!

Pants? Definitely not! You all know how I feel about pants.

What's this? Star Wars costumes? Now we're getting closer.

*some time later*

Well, I placed my order and I can't wait for it to arrive! What do you think I bought?

Build-a-Bear Pay Your Age Day

Hey everyone, did you hear about Build-a-Bear's Pay Your Age Day last week? Apparently you could get any bear in the store and would only have to pay your age (my mom says it would not be worth it for her.) Well, it was so popular that they had to close the lines early because of overcrowding!

You might be wondering if I took part in this since I do love Build-a-Bear clothes, but after my recent iPhone X and Black Friday shopping experiences, I decided to stay home.

Did anyone go to Build-a-Bear for this?

Goodies

"Ajdin, you have a package!" Uncle Tibbs said.  He brought over a large box.

I wondered if this was my recent online shopping purchase.  It was!

I quickly opened the box and saw...

...a green Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hoodie!

...and a PawPad!

I immediately put on the hoodie.

"Ooogie, how do I look?" I asked.

"Youuuuu loooook greeeeeeaat," he said.  "Tuuuuurtles ruuuuule!"

Then I started playing around with my new PawPad.

It can do some pretty cool things.

A new hoodie and a new PawPad - I am such a lucky bear!

Build-a-Bear Workshop

Now, I started to walk another few blocks and then I saw a beary interesting store...

It was the Build-a-Bear Workshop!  I have heard about this beary famous place but I have never been there before.  My little heart was beating with excitement.  When I walked into the store, I was greeted by several friendly people.  They all said I was beary cute.  I was treated like a king.  I wish all stores were this welcoming to little bears.

I saw other bears there and decided to introduce myself.  "Hello there," I said.  There was no response.  Hmm.  Maybe this one was taking a nap.

I approached another bear.  "I'm Ajdin, nice to meet you," I said, extending my paw for a pawshake.  He also did not move.  How strange!

I looked around and realized that none of the stuffies were moving.  All of them were flat like a pancake and equally unresponsive.  I immediately administered CPR.

Then I saw a sign.  FLUFF ME.  Ahhh, everything makes sense now.  These stuffies have not been fluffed yet.

This is the fluffing machine.  Inside it contains heart stuff and constantly tumbles around to keep everything nice and fluffy.

Then I saw an open heart surgery taking place (don't worry, the bear was under honeythesia).  This nice surgeon asked if I would like to be restuffed or if I wanted extra curves in some places.  A quick glance in a nearby mirror confirmed that I was still not quite beach body ready.

"Thanks," I said, "but I like myself just the way I am."

These are some beating heart "pacemakers" that some stuffies have inside of them.

I made a new friend.  This is Phil.  He's a punk rocker about to go on tour with his band.  He had some tattoos on his feet.  I asked my mom if I could get some tattoos also but she said no.

Phil explained that there are computers to help new stuffies decide on a name.  You can also print out a bearth certificate.

Look at all these cool clothes.

Even more clothes!  Maybe I will be able to finally find some pants.

Howdy!  How do I look in this hat?

Or perhaps a black leather motorcycle jacket?  Complete with a motorcycle!   VROOM VROOM...
I also saw some military bears including a Navy SEAL (Salmon Exploration And Location).  He said they also have a unit called the Navy BEARs (Beehive Exploration and Reconnaisance).  How handsome a bear in uniform looks.  "Thank you for serving our country," I said.  I gave them a salute.

"Roger that!" they responded.

Perhaps I could join the Bearines also?

Then I saw a New Yorker bear.  "LIBEARTY AND JUSTICE FUR ALL!" he proclaimed.

I went to the dressing room and started trying on some outfits.  There were so many outfits to choose from.  Which one was I going to get?  And would I finally put on a pair of pants?

TO BE CONTINUED...
