Mail haul

Today, my secretary decided she would just randomly show up and come to work. She handed me a couple of pieces of old mail she "happened to find lying around." Should I fire her? It's so hard to find good help these days.

The first letter is... a Halloween card! Halloween? Are we seriously that backed up on posting?

It's from Jerry and Ben, and there is also a Starbucks gift card for participating in the Halloween costume contest where I was my alter ego, Dr. FISHKENSTEIN... mwahahahahahahahaha... *ahem* I mean, thank you beary much, Jerry and Ben!

My secretary handed me another envelope. Let me guess, it's a holiday card and probably months behind also!

It's a Christmas card from Sandy! Thank you Sandy! Speaking of Christmas cards, I think my secretary forgot to mail those out also - really? I think I could find someone on Fiverr who would do a better job.

Thank you for the mail, everyone! My goal in 2026 is to find a new secretary!

Catching up!

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, followed by a Merry Christmas, and finally a Happy New Year!

Let's catch up on a few things, shall we?

But first, check out this cool jersey I'm wearing. My friend Droopy got it for me after our hometown heroes, the Houston Astros, won the World Series in November! CHAMPS, YEAH!

I also have quite a bit of mail to catch up on. I got these cool Halloween cards from Jerry and Ben and a gift card from Starbucks as a prize for my entry in their annual Halloween contest. I also got a card from Sandy with a Halloween hamster on it. Beary cool!

Next, I got some holiday cards from Little Fox, Jerry and Ben, and Sandy. We sent out cards too, but we were cutting it close so they may have been a little delayed (again, looking for new secretary in 2023).

Thanks for all the mail, everyone! Snail mail is the best. :)

Mail call

Hello! This is Uncle Tibbs filling in for Ajdin today. The little guy asked me if I could do today's mail call post, so here I am!

We have a couple pieces of mail to review. It looks like they were a bit delayed, but that's ok.

The first one is a Valentine's Day card from Sprinkles the bear. Aw, how nice.

And the second card is a recycled handmade art piece from Beanie Mouse.

Beanie writes, "Hope you have (had) a wonderful Christmas!" There's also a little button pin. I'll make sure Ajdin gets it.

Let's take another look at the envelope this card came in. It's a pizza menu! Mmm... pizza. I think I'll order a pizza for dinner... make it extra extra extra large... with pepperoni and sausage and anchovies...

Thanks for the cards, everyone!

Holiday mail

I received some awesome holiday cards recently! Let's review them. Oh yeah, I have a new mailing address, so if you want to write, be sure to email me first and I will send you my new address.

The first card is from Little Fox. It's a picture of him at Joshua Tree National Park. We were also there earlier this year, around the same time too. Perhaps we passed each other while in the park. It's a small world!

The next card is from Fritzel Ranßweiler of Germany. Guten tag! Fritzel has so many outfits (more than me) and is definitely a fashion icon for all stuffies!

Next is a card from Sprinkles the Traveling Bear. He also included a couple of Christmas stickers! Thank you beary much!

And finally is a cute card from Sandy Bear. I love the cute bear on the front of this card. He kind of looks like me, don't you think?

Thanks for all the cards, everybody! Hope you had a beary Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

Santa encounter

I have been waiting all year to talk to the Big Guy, and today he happened to be sitting on the couch taking requests.

"Hello Santa!" I said.

"Hello Ajdin!" he replied. "Come sit on my lap and tell Santa what you'd like for Christmas."

"Oh, there are a bunch of things I'd like for Christmas," I began. "Okay, well for starters, I'd like a new large jar of honey, make that 2 large jars... no, why stop at just 2, make it a dozen. Then, I'd like salmon lox and lots of it because it is so delicious on a nicely toasted bagel for breakfast..."

THREE HOURS LATER...

"And then... I'd like a car wax polish kit for my red car, because it looks great when it's nice and shiny. And a year's supply of chocolate and candy. And some vacation guidebooks to plan my next adventure... and then... I think that's it. Santa? Santa, did you get all that?"

I'M BACK!!

HELLO EVERYONE! It's me, Ajdin, and I am beary excited to write my first blog post in several months!

A lot of things have happened since last time. I moved to a new bearcave and have been helping my mom with a lot stuff. My car - as well as some of my stuffie friends - are still in storage, but don't worry, we will rescue them soon. Anyways, I will catch up on that later (including the delayed results for the Stuffie Olympics) but for now, I will be making a reindeer holiday ornament to put on the Christmas tree.

First, let's spread out all of our materials in this craft pack. We have different beads, strong monofilament thread, and a pipe cleaner.

This is going to be fun.

I am following the instructions and this is what I have so far. I think this is the bottom of the reindeer's nose.

Or... is it actually my nose? Hey, this kinda looks like me. Let's keep going...

We'll make some loops with brown beads for the ears, add red beads for the hat, and some clear beads for antlers. And here it is!

Now let's hang it on the Christmas tree.

It looks great on the tree. I hope you have a beary Merry Christmas! What are you doing for Christmas this year?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

A few days ago, I received some nice holiday cards!

A beary Christmas card from my friend Sprinkles! What a cute card! Maybe I need a Santa outfit next year.

A card from Little Fox - it has two bears getting their Christmas tree set up. Too bad I could not find our tree in time for Christmas this year!

And finally a card from my friends Jessica and Wesley - thank you beary much!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Have a Happy New Year and see you in 2020!

Holiday cards

Hey everyone! We are well into the month of December, so you know what that means - holiday cards! I got a whole bunch this past week. Let's check them out!

This first card is from Little Fox. Thanks Little Fox!

The next card is from Fritzel who lives in Germany! Danke!

And finally, a Winnie the Pooh themed card from Sandy! Thank you Sherlock Sandy, who just recently completed a detective case from the Ministry of Puzzles.

I will put these cards up by the Christmas tree... by the way... where is our Christmas tree? I can't seem to find it. This is something that a secretary would do... if I had one!

Holiday wishes

I hope everyone had a Beary Merry Christmas! I was traveling and didn't have time to post some of the cool holiday cards that I got.

This first card I received has a fox on it... and it's from... Little Fox (that makes sense, doesn't it?) Thanks Little Fox!

I also got a card from Sprinkles the Traveling Bear. Also included was a cool sheet of stickers! Thanks Sprinkles!

Next, I got a card from Droopy. This card has a polar bear on it and also glitter! Thanks Droopy!

This other card is from Jerry & Ben. I like the sweater that this bear is wearing, very stylish. Thanks Jerry & Ben!

Our little Christmas tree is still up - we'll probably keep it up for a little while longer because it's so pretty! Thanks everyone, for the cards!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! SEE YOU IN 2019!
