Howdy!

Zzzzzzz...

...huh? Who's there?

Oh, howdy! I'm just taking a little nap outside. I am here down south in Texas for the holidays. I also brought my cowboy clothes and hat - it's the perfect outfit to wear in Texas!

The weather is terrific today! I think I'll go exploring around outside for a bit.

This is big sky country!

They say everything's bigger in Texas, and I even feel bigger here (though I am still a little bear).

Let's check out some of the things growing out here in the backyard.

This is a fig tree, but I don't see any figs yet. We'll check back again soon. In the meantime, it's great for climbing!

And here is a grapefruit tree that has been growing so well!

I had a grapefruit the other day and it was very delicious, especially with a little sugar sprinkled on top.

And this is... hmm... this looks like a fun garden project. The soil has been cleared of weeds and old plants and is ready for new seeds. What should I plant in this garden?

I really like being a cowboy/farmer bear, y'all!

Halloween card

I got a Halloween card in the mail from my friend Droopy!

It has some foam candy corn stickers, and the stickers on the right with the pumpkin, car, and witch are made of cork. Pretty cool, huh?

Thanks for the card, Droopy!

Pumpkin decorating

Hey everyone, hope you're having a good day! I got a pumpkin to decorate a couple of days ago. It's the perfect size for me, don't you think?

Right now, I'm thinking of different ways to decorate my pumpkin.

Should I make it creepy and scary, or funny and silly?

Either way, this could get messy, so I'm going to put it underneath a sheet of newspaper to protect my work area.

And I have some paints and things here, so let me just try some things.

"Woof?"

Ah, yes, I think that's it! That will look beary nice indeed!

"Woof?"

Okay, all done! Are you ready? Do you want to see my decorated pumpkin?

Well, here it is! I give you...

...THE JACKSON POLLOCK PUMPKIN!

Isn't it beautiful?

"WOOF???"

I mean, just look at all the vibrant colors used here! Isn't it fantastic?

I love my decorated pumpkin, and I think I'll enter it in Jerry and Ben's Halloween Contest for the best decoration category.

Have you decorated for Halloween yet?

Roadside assistance

I haven't driven my car in a while, so I thought I would give it a spin today. Let's go for a ride!

I got in my car and buckled up. Safety is very important!

When I tried to turn on the engine, I heard a strange clicking sound.

CLICK CLICK CLICK!

I tried it again.

CLICK CLICK CLICK!

But my car still would not start... UGH!

Oh no, what am I going to do?

Have you ever had one of those days where it seems like NOTHING is going right? Yes, those days happen to stuffies, too!

But then I remembered that I'm a AAA member! AAA provides vehicle roadside and towing assistance for a reasonable annual fee.

I called the number on the back of my membership card and very soon, a highly skilled technician showed up to my location! It was KoKo, my most trusted mechanic, who also happens to own a repair shop called KoKo's Kars.

"Hey there, mate," he said. "Let's take a look at what's going on."

He popped the hood and began looking around.

"Now turn on the engine," he said.

CLICK CLICK CLICK!

"Aha, I know that sound very well," he said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Your car battery has died and you need a new one," KoKo replied. "I have some new ones here and I'll just replace it for you."

He popped in the new battery and my car engine roared to life.

"Wow! Yes! It works!" I said happily.

"That's great, mate," he said.

"What do I owe you?" I asked.

"Nothing, mate. You're a Platinum AAA member, so you get a free battery replacement."

"Wow, really? I love AAA! Thank you and have a great day!" I said as I drove away.

"Glad I could help out, mate," he said.

What amazing customer service! I highly recommend AAA to any car owner!
